Games Day
A few weeks ago I had the most fantastic Sunday EVER!!!!!
I went to Games day a few weeks ago with my Godmother's husband, Andy. The whole thing is all about Warhammer which is what me and Andy both collect.
I woke up at around 6:00 in the morning as we had to catch the coach to Birmingham which is where it is situated, every store arranges a coach to take the people who go to the store to Games Day. When we got to the store I saw my friend William Gore who also went in the coach. We stayed in the car until the coach got ready to leave.
The journey was very long but it was fun as the store owners announced competitions (We didn't win any though.)
When we arrived we walked all the way to the halls from the coach park. Then we had to wait for a long time in a long queue. Then the fun began!!!
First we went over to this table where a battle was going on, we had great fun and fought lots of men.
Then we went off to buy some Warhammer and get my newest white dwarf signed by some people in the white dwarf team. Then we had a bit of a look about.
After we had a wander we went to another table and had a fun battle where we had to recapture a church which ended up with us surrounded and killing as many men as we could!
After we had finished another battle we still wanted to have more gaming. So we went back to our first battle and commenced to play over there.
After that we wandered around some more until it was time to give out the Golden Demon awards (the most valued painting prize in the whole of Warhammer. Then we got on the coach and travelled back to London (it took sometime as there was a lot of traffic, but we watched some of the Dark Knight.
I had a fantastic time and I'd like to thank Andy for taking me there.
