My Grandpa's 70th birthday at Babington

On Friday we all left our house and set of to Babington in Somerset. Mum had baked a wonderful cake and we had wrapped up our TOP SECRET and TOP SECRET(S) for him. If ANY of you haven't been to Babington it's a hotel with luxurious rooms, a swimming pool, church, lake, a place for kiddies and spa. I've been numerous times and I can still get through the day and have something to do, the time is mostly spent at the little house/kiddies place (it's got PS3s). when we arrived we waited for our cousins, gave them a quick tour and had lunch.

Next morning we had breakfast and launched the day, it was a normal but fun day and I very much enjoyed it.

The next day was Saturday and we celebrated Grandpa's Birthday with tea and the cake in a '70' shape. We all had the cake together and Grandpa opened his presents from us the 'top secret' was a telescope which if you type a planet on the keypad the telescope turns to look at it and a collection on DVDs one from every 10 years of his life which quite a few. Every one said Mum's cake was spectacular and I enjoyed it very much.

The next day was our last day at Babington me, Louis and our cousins went swimming and played on the swing until lunch. At lunch everyone who was invited to Grandpa's birthday sat down and had lunch together lots of people had beef including me. After lunch we had a bit more cake and then all the kids including myself left to play outside. When it was time to go I was very sad and said goodbye and thank you to Grandma and Grandpa and happy birthday to Grandpa. I enjoyed the weekend at Babington and I think Soho House the company who runs it have done a very good job of running it and I would love to come again.
