The silly Scilly Isles

A week and a few days ago we started our trip to the Scilly Isles. Firstly we went to Pointz, which was near Babington in Somerset, for two nights then we went to great-uncle Richard's new house that was being built in Cornwall. After a quick lunch we went to the heliport and waited for the helicopter that was going to take us to Treso, when we arrived at the heliport we found the Bury family (Marcus, Sasha, Christopher, Olivia and Nicholas) Harry, Louis friend, Harry's mum, Hilary, and his little sister Lottie, waiting for us at the heliport. After Olivia had told us about the Barbecue that evening and that there were going to be marshmallows, we put our bags on the carriage on the tractor and went on the carriage. When we got to the shops we got off apart from dad because he was taking the bags to Dial Rocks which was the house we were staying in for the first week. After we got our bikes Louis went of with Harry while Christopher showed me where Dial Rocks was, when we got there the tractor had just arrived and dad had unpacked the bags, dad told us to take the bags in while he went to collect his bike, after we had broght the bags in I gave Christopher the kite we bought for him, when we were just about to go to his cottage, Sunbeam, mum called us to take the ball for Nicholas and the girly kit for Olivia. When we got to Sunbeam we went to the beach and gave Nicholas his ball then we went inside Sunbeam and gave Olivia her girly kit, after that Sascha told us that the BBQ would be ready about 6ish so we went and explored the island a bit and then we went to Sunbeam and got ready for the BBQ. While we played with the kite that we got Christopher and it was a very good kite I met Christopher's friend Lucien and played a little football with him. Then we roasted marshmallows I had lots and they were really yummy. Then we went to Dial Rocks and went to bed

The next day Louis and Harry went sailing but I couldn't go because I had reddish cheeks so Dad said I couldn't go sailing because of that. Louis and Harry also went swimming which I couldn't do but I went to the shops and got a Yorkie instead. We went to the New Inn for some ice cream me and Louis had a double scoop - I had two scoops of chocolate. The next morning Harry left on a boat I went swimming and went to the jacuzzi which was really warm and Dad liked it because it helped his neck.

Over the next two weeks we went to the Abbey Gardens which was really beautiful, we went and explored the tree house which was really fun because you could swing on ropes like tarzan. Finn, Jesse and Ewan also came over from St Mary's and they stayed over for a night and went for a walk which took us to a castle a few days later it was Christopher's last day and we went to Briar and had a vary long walk which took us to the end of the island then Lucien and his dad stayed at the Hell Bay Hotel while we all went home. On our last day we went on a really long cycle ride which went all the way round the island. We also went to the fair which was called the four 'B' - Dad thought it was Burgers, Bouncy Castle, Beer and Babes! Actually it was Bands not Babes.

I like Tresco because there aren't that many cars and it's quite a small island and there are only a few shops around. The good thing is that you can go off to explore and your parents don't have to follow you everywhere you go. Even though it rained most days we still had a fun holiday on Tresco especially crabbing which we got lots of crabs on.
