My Holiday In Kenya.
We first flew to Nirobi and stayed aat the Norfolk hotel for a few days, I got a kikoy. Then we flew to Ambozeli we saw lots of animals like Bufferlo, Lion, Wildabeast and Zebra ( Their stripes are a bit comical ). Our safari driver was called " Daniel" and I think he looked after us really well. Then we went to the "Carnivore" and had ostrich and croc, the meat was spectactuler and I loved it. Then we went to the massi-maraandsaw new animals like Hartibeast, Topi and Cheetah. It was a bit dfferent to Ambozeli. Then we went to Manda Bay and had two friends called "Jack" and "Oscar". Then we went further down the coast to Watamu and I had two friends Called "Eliyes" And "George". After we went back to Nirobi, for a treat dad took us to the best curry house in Kenya I enjoyed it very much. I really apresheate dad took us on this wondufull holiday and I enjoyed it thurolly.

What wonderful photographs. You certainly got very close to the 'big five'. It all sounded so exciting and I guess you will want to go back again. Brian and I are going to Kenya again in September and I would like to go to Amboseli this time. I expect you will be able to tell me all about the place you stayed in so that I can book it.
have a great summer term and I look forward to seeing you soon, though sadly we will not be with you on your birthday as we are off to mexico today for a holiday. Lots of love granny anne
Wow Archie, that looked great fun -I like the picture of you at the bar in Magadi as it reminded me of sitting there drinking lime and soda, I lived there when I was the same age that you are now and it hasn't changed at all!
